Welcome To the Blandford Police Department Website Updated Friday July 18, 2008 22:14 hrs Resident's of Blandford, The Blandford Police Department has received the town finance committee's proposed budget reductions. The Police Department has taken a tremendous "hit" (over 50% of our proposed budget) in terms of salary and expenses, in fact, our proposed 2009 budget is less than our fiscal 2008 budget. For the record, I strongly disagree with the finance committee's assessment and will be adamant that our budget be restored. Due to the budget cuts, The Blandford Police regretfully announce the cancellation of the towns first national night out event that was planned for Tuesday August 5, 2008. Due to staffing and budgetary issues the Police department office will be closed until July 28. Residents with LTC renewals should call our office number 848-2020 and leave their contact information, someone from the department will return a call.
